Voiceitt Raises $4.7M to Scale Speech Recognition for People With Disabilities

Amazon Alexa Fund portfolio company Voiceitt has announced a funding round of $4.7 million. The round was led by AMIT Technion with participation from Third Culture Capital (3CC) and Cisco Investments.  


The speech recognition-technology company will now extend the round to meet a new goal of $10 million.


Voiceitt offers an AI-based speech recognition app for individuals with speech impairments to communicate, translating unintelligible and atypical speech in real time.


The company will use the latest funds to scale its platform, accelerate commercialization and expand its proprietary speech database. It had earlier received ​​$10 million in Series A funding in 2020 and has already raised a total of $20 million since its inception, including $5M of non-dilutive funding from grants and competitions.
