WebMD Ignite and HIA Technologies partner to launch AI-powered digital health assistants

WebMD Ignite has partnered with HIA Technologies to introduce HealthInteractive, a solution that utilises artificial intelligence (AI) powered health assistants. 

HealthInteractive combines WebMD Ignite's patient education resources with HIA's Aivio technology, offering a two-way, interactive experience for patients. The Aivio platform presents multimedia content and allows patients to ask questions and receive instant answers from their healthcare organisation's digital health assistants. 

The Physician-Controlled AI (PCAI) ensures that all information shared, including answers to patient questions, remains under the control of the content publisher.

The HealthInteractive solution enables WebMD Ignite customers to transform their existing content into an interactive and guided experience, deepening the connection between patients and healthcare providers. 

It also provides analytics for meaningful insights into patient behaviour and comprehension. All current and future WebMD Ignite clients will have access to HealthInteractive and its features.
