xCures Secures $46M Series B to Expand Clinical Data Structuring Platform

xCures has completed a $46 million Series B financing round led by Innovius Capital, with participation from iGrow, GKCC, Spring Mountain Capital, and existing institutional investors. The investment increases the company’s total institutional funding to more than $76 million and will be used to expand its proprietary platform that transforms fragmented electronic health record (EHR) data into structured clinical information across multiple healthcare settings.

The company’s technology addresses a longstanding challenge in healthcare: critical patient information is often stored as unstructured text across numerous electronic medical record systems, laboratories, imaging centers, and other care providers. Powered by its proprietary Clinical Clarity Engine, xCures has processed more than 300 million medical records collected from over 550,000 healthcare locations throughout the United States.

Initially developed and clinically validated over nearly a decade in oncology, the platform has since expanded to support all clinical specialties, multi-specialty provider organizations, and value-based care initiatives. Its cloud-native architecture is built around three core capabilities:

  • Automated reconstruction of longitudinal patient histories by aggregating records from more than 550,000 healthcare sites.

  • Generation of decision-ready clinical checklists that summarize complex patient histories into concise, actionable information for point-of-care use.

  • Structuring of clinical data using standardized biomedical vocabularies to support compliance requirements for diagnostic laboratories, health plans, and other healthcare organizations.

“Healthcare has spent decades generating enormous amounts of patient data without a reliable way to make that information usable. We’re changing that,” stated Mika Newton, CEO of xCures. “This financing allows us to accelerate product development, expand our team, and help more organizations turn fragmented records into information they can actually act on.”

A distinguishing feature of the Clinical Clarity Engine is its emphasis on source traceability. Rather than relying on opaque data models, every structured output generated by the platform is directly linked to its original source document, allowing clinicians, researchers, and healthcare organizations to verify extracted information quickly and support audit requirements.

Commenting on the company’s approach, Stu Posluns, Partner at Innovius Capital, observed that the future of AI transformation in healthcare depends entirely on the accuracy, completeness, and trust profile of the underlying clinical data.

By combining large-scale record processing with verifiable source attribution, xCures aims to provide healthcare organizations with structured clinical intelligence that supports care delivery, research, and operational decision-making while reducing the burden of managing fragmented patient information.
