BJ Schaknowski is a seasoned software executive with over 25 years of leadership experience. Prior to becoming CEO of symplr, he served as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Vertafore, a leading insurance technology provider, and held senior roles at LexisNexis, CA Technologies, Intuit, and Sage Software. BJ is committed to creating value for employees, customers, and shareholders. He holds a BA in Communications from the State University of New York at Geneseo and an MBA from the University of Georgia. BJ also served 8 years in the U.S. Marine Corps infantry. He lives in Denver with his wife, Heather, and two children.
