About Colin Soutar:

Dr. Colin Soutar is a managing director at Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory. He leads cyber & strategic risk Products and Technology within the Government & Public Services practice and is the Deloitte US Cyber Quantum Readiness leader. After finishing his studies in Dundee, Scotland, Colin started his career with a two-year post-doctorate study at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, developing pattern recognition techniques for autonomous rendezvous and capture operations. Colin now has more than 25 years of experience in biometrics, digital identity, and cybersecurity technologies and was previously the CTO of a public company in Toronto, Canada, for almost a decade. He currently serves on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council for Cybersecurity.
