Melanie Marcus, Chief Marketing Officer at Surescripts, is a seasoned healthcare executive, with more than 25 years of working at the intersection of marketing, technology, and healthcare. She joined Surescripts as Chief Marketing Officer in 2017, where she now leads marketing and
customer experience. Melanie built her career at McKesson, taking on progressively pivotal roles focused on marketing, strategic planning, and business leadership. Before that, she gained considerable industry knowledge through key roles in strategic planning and marketing for Sutter Health in Sacramento, California, and Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Melanie earned her degree from Bowdoin College and her MBA from Boston University.
