Integrating Oncology Digital Health into Clinical Practices

About this Meeting

Small, intimate and participant-led discussions tackling digital health challenges. Spaces are limited to 8 - 12 people, allowing you to focus on quality in-depth conversations.

The benefits of digital technologies in oncology are undeniable; however, effectively demonstrating their value to end users is pivotal for the success of these products. This hinges on addressing real needs and seamlessly integrating them into existing practices, workflows, and systems. In the complex landscape of cancer treatment, healthcare providers and patients may view these technologies as an added burden. To promote adoption, integrating digital oncology solutions with various healthcare systems, such as hospital information systems, laboratory information systems, and radiology imaging systems, is crucial. Bridging the gap between new digital solutions and established infrastructure is a significant challenge that needs to be overcome. Additionally, given the differences among hospitals, there is a pressing need to standardise solutions, using approaches like Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), to facilitate smooth implementation, data exchange, and interoperability between disparate systems. Join this meeting where we will discuss real-world learnings and best practices for overcoming the interoperability and integration challenges of digital oncology solutions with peers. The conversation will focus on the following key areas:

  • Developing Physician-Friendly Solutions. How to ensure user-friendly and patient-centric oncology solutions, that seamlessly integrate with existing workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and ease of use for healthcare professionals.
  • Addressing Interoperability Requirements. What are the specific interoperability needs of digital health solutions across various care settings, including data exchange and integration with different healthcare systems?
  • Approaches to standardising and scaling digital solutions across health systems. What are scalable strategies that can be implemented across diverse health systems, accounting for regional variations and regulatory requirements?

We would like to remind you that our meetings are small and intimate sessions with a limited number of seats available, therefore we rely on your attendance and participation to ensure a high quality and valuable meeting for all.
