About this Meeting

What are the best payment models for delivering virtual care to cardiovascular patients? How can we maximize adoption? This two-part meeting will give our virtual care community an opportunity to share and learn from others’ experiences.  

While virtual care for Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) has shown promise outcomes, choosing the right payment model and driving adoption remain major challenges.To maximize the potential for adoption at scale, the right payment models are vital. Over the past few years, we have seen different approaches; from prioritizing employers or direct-to-consumer (D2C) models first to partnering with pharma or seeking payers reimbursement. Join this series of two meetings to discuss the following topics:    

Session 2 (7 June):  
  • Current levels of adoption of virtual care programs in the cardiovascular space 
  • Virtual care solutions can be recommended by the care team or proactively adopted by patients. How do we increase awareness and activate the care team and/or the patient to start using the solution? 
  • How do we ensure long-term engagement from the patient and the care team? 
  • Integration of virtual care programs in the day-to-day of the care team
