Chronic Respiratory Diseases such as COPD and asthma are highly prevalent and lead to a large number of deaths every year. Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) has been shown to be helpful for the prevention of COPD and asthma exacerbations as well as in the management of these conditions. These tools can also reduce costs for health systems and payers (fewer hospitalizations, ER visits and readmissions). But, despite proven clinical outcomes and regulatory approvals, HCP and patient adoption remains slim; how can we change this? Join us in this informal conversation where we will discuss the main challenges around HCP and patient adoption of virtual care solutions for respiratory diseases. More specifically, in this session we will talk about:
Current levels of adoption of these solutions
How to increase HCP and patient awareness, drive activation and ensure proper onboarding to virtual care solutions
Virtual care solutions integration into physicians’ tools (like EMR, CDSS, etc) and workflow: challenges and best practices
