Racism is a public health issue. Going forward, we must be actionable, define health equity and map a path to pervade social justice in all aspects of healthcare. It’s our duty to roll up our sleeves, hold ourselves accountable, acknowledge the deep history of structural racism and work together to achieve the much needed societal change.
