About this Session:
After years of promise, we are finally experiencing a perfect storm of AI driven innovation in health care as changes in policy and culture have caught up with technology. The challenge now is to ensure that we can transparently manage the ethical and social ramifications of this innovation to prevent bias and inequity from derailing the full potential of AI to revolutionize how we care for people. This will require an ongoing commitment from parties across the healthcare and sociopolitical spectrums to ask and answer the tough questions posed by this remarkable new era in human health.
