About this Session:

Innovating in healthcare is complicated. People are only patients for fleeting moments when they?re with providers. On the other side, clinicians have little visibility into peoples? vast health experiences between appointments. Much like developing multisided marketplaces, solving this gulf of knowledge relies on centering both patients AND practitioners in your process. To understand the parties involved and create innovative solutions, you must invest in and support user research and discovery. Extending your discovery past patient needs to secure a better understanding of the forces driving product adherence and widespread adoption. While research and discovery tools can offer a more holistic and accurate understanding of individuals' health, those deeper insights are far less actionable when decoupled from the nuanced perspectives of clinicians and care teams. Innovative digital therapies with life-changing outcomes are the result of addressing all sides of the adoption and adherence challenges. That's why we believe true, lasting innovation happens when both patient and practitioner are centered in the process. In this session, learn how to: 1. Improve health outcomes by leveraging and prioritizing insights garnered directly from patients through discovery 2. Synthesize user research to understand what data is of most value and overlaps with patient and clinician needs 3. Increase the level of care and support the recovery process with more reliable patient self-reporting 4. Equip patients and practitioners with accessible views of the data to better participate in healthcare outcomes Speakers: Rolf Russell, Chief Strategy Officer @ TXI Rex Chekal, Principal Product Designer @ TXI
