About this Session:

The goal to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace is intricately woven into the fabric of any company. With the Supreme Court’s most recent ruling on affirmative action, progress in this area has slowed down even more. Organizations are exploring different techniques to foster a more equitable talent acquisition and retention strategy, evaluate generational differences in the workplace and investing in diverse founders to answer the inescapable question: are we doing better as an industry? The answer lies within these leaders who are breaking away from traditional hiring practices, fostering relationships with new founders and exploring innovative approaches to invest in and retain diverse talent. By breaking away from relying on our tried and tested formula, we can move one step closer in achieving a more inclusive healthcare space. By supporting inclusivity, we unlock a wealth of perspectives and ideas. It seems obvious, but search a few company leadership pages and you’ll understand the need.
