Our society has become obsessed with “living well” through any means necessary. What’s our proof? The aesthetics injectables market has historically grown by over 10% a year and can hit as high as 12-14% in the next 5 years. As COVID drastically impacted the number of routine healthcare services provided, the injectable market only slightly faltered and rebounded FAST. Need more proof? GLP-1’s, the infamous yet groundbreaking weight loss drug, will amass over $55 billion by 2032. While the sheer size of our diabetic population contributes to this extreme growth, a large percentage of those on the medication are not diabetic at all. We are arguably obsessed with living longer, looking younger and being thinner, throwing caution to the wind at each and every Kim Kardashian tweet about the latest wellness trend. So again we ask, what are we willing to risk to be well?
