Pharmacovigilance (Drug Safety) cases contain Adverse Event mentions in clinical text that requires human effort of MedDRA (dictionary) coding. In AI based Adverse Event Coding we observed that AI model for MedDRA coding achieves 10X speed up compared to human only MedDRA coding workflow. This approach reduces the cost of coding to a small fraction and eliminates the problem of under reporting of safety events.
