Virtual health has accelerated faster than ever imagined among care teams and organizations. This includes the changes in how employees communicate with one another. Hand-in-hand with this needed shift to virtual health was a recognition – and an opportunity – that the new processes and technologies NIH would implement would last beyond the necessities of the pandemic and translate to everyday “normal” operations for the future. Implementing new technology represented an opportunity to shift to a single platform, rather than disparate siloed technologies, that would use insights from clinical systems, including EMRs. NIH leveraged ThinkAndor to deploy an end-to-end collaboration platform that could not only bring enhanced functionality to their providers, but also leverage existing technologies to provide a seamless, and orchestrated approach to virtual collaboration.
