About this Session:
The first generation of remote patient modern technology included a focus on leveraging wireless and Bluetooth Technology to connect existing devices like glucometers, scales, and pulse oximeters to our phones or to the cloud. Similarly, early digital diagnostics focused on making routine testing like Hemoglobin A1C testing for diabetes or LDL cholesterol measurement more widely available. More recent advances in technology have changed the ways that a broader array of medical devices and diagnostics collect and produce data in ways that help to improve the quality of care and reduce costs, and they are garnering the attention of payers and value-based providers. This panel features companies that are disrupting the way that we think about the role of next generation technologies in accelerating value-based care.
