Autonomy, Authority and Accreditation: Never Give Up on Clinical Digital Health Leadership

Change management guru, John Kotter, said it best, ?A guiding coalition made up only of managers ? will cause major change efforts to fail.? For the last five years CHIME International has worked with clinicians - doctors, nurses and allied health professionals - to support their development as digital health leaders. Modernization is a function of technology, process, and people, with people being 80% of the equation. Capturing the attention and advocacy of a clinical workforce directly leads to the successful implementation and redesign of a digital health process and its sustained evolution. This panel will address common issues affecting clinicians worldwide; and consider an attitudinal survey from the British Medical Association which asked clinicians for their optimal conditions for digital health leadership.
