Despite decades of attention on the cost and quality of healthcare benefits, traditional employer-sponsored plans continue to offer uneven care and employers are bracing for the highest cost increases in over two decades. Leading provider organizations are looking for ways to ease access their best-in-class doctors and facilities, regardless of the location or size of the sponsoring employer. A new program will test the theory that a value-based plan, combined with proactive care navigation, can decrease barriers to access and help clear the path to more equitable healthcare for American workers.
