Our healthcare landscape has traditionally operated in a more rigid siloed way, but with the adoption of wearable and remote patient monitoring technology, this is slowly changing. How can we optimize the data and insights we receive from these devices to create a more holistic view of a person's physical, mental, and social well being? The integration of wearables and other remote technologies can empower clinicians and doctors with highly actionable data that prioritizes a more person centered approach. For patients, this can result in an improved quality of life over time. In a post-COVID world, this can also play a pivotal role tackling infectious disease outbreaks or addressing healthcare disparities in under-resourced clinical environments. If we are able to optimize this data with the right amount of incorporation within the clinical setting, the possibilities are endless. And we?ll look good doing it!
