About this Session:
Renowned hospitalist Dr. Amar Munsiff will introduce the topic of patient-status assignment in the Emergency Department, and the massive financial issue that observation-status poses for hospital systems. He and Dr. Scott Levin will then introduce a proposed software solution that leverages AI to provide clinical data points about the likelihood of patient decompensation, therefore improving the accuracy of patient-status assignment and reimbursement capacity.
