In this session, Dr. Ryan Mackey will explain how his experience at LifePoint, one of the largest and most complex IDNs in the nation, has informed his thesis that access to great care is, at its core, limited by poor interoperability. Despite the best efforts of administrative and clinical teams, more than 40% of patients never receive the care they need. Broken processes and technology balloon the administrative burden, delay critical care, and cause patients to leak out of the network.
