Every week, HealthXL communities connect to break down some of the major challenges and opportunities in digital health. If you are interested in joining any of these meetings, just click through the link to request access. However, even if you can't make a meeting, keep an eye out for the key takeaways, which will be published later this week.
- Today, we kick off with the second part of our sprint series on DTx - Pharma Partnerships: where are we heading to? In this session, we will examine when will we start seeing more companies incorporating standalone digital therapeutics (DTx) as a new digital revenue model? The group will also look into what needs to happen to encourage more collaborations in the drug development phase, rather than post-drug commercialization.
- Our digital therapeutics community is also holding a virtual networking event on Monday, where we intelligently match attendees for a series of 1-2-1 video calls.
- On Tuesday, we are holding a meeting to break down the do’s and don’ts when building an evidence generation strategy for DTx. Anchored by Matt Norton, of S3 Connected Health, we will look at one of the key issues in digital health - meeting the evidence requirements from different stakeholders and addressing them as efficiently as possible.
- As better patient outcomes are emerging with the use of virtual care programs, there seems to be a huge opportunity for pharma to work in tandem with virtual care companies to drive better health outcomes, but the business model is still not clear. Our telemedicine and virtual care delivery community will examine this and the opportunities for pharma within virtual care for cardiometabolic diseases at our meeting this week.
- On Wednesday, we are hosting a masterclass on DTx Reimbursement in the US - Value-Based Contracting Basics. Led by biopharma and prescription digital therapeutics outcomes-based contracting pioneer, Mike Pace, we will focus on value-based contracts and their application in the US.
- We close out the week with an Innovation showcase: Digital Health Solutions in Mental Health on Thursday. This meeting is a bilateral discussion where companies meet 1-2-1 with potential partners to discuss mutual challenges they face when building successful collaborations.
