The Agenda - coming up this week at HealthXL

Every week, HealthXL communities connect to break down some of the major challenges and opportunities in digital health.

If you are interested in joining any of these meetings, just click through the link to request access. However, even if you can't make a meeting, keep an eye out for the key takeaways, which will be published later this week.

On 31 May, join us at an interactive masterclass on clinical evidence for digital health, standards, and expectations. This will be led by Jordan Silberman, the director of clinical analytics and research, digital care delivery, at Anthem.

Also on Tuesday, Mike Pace, founder of Palm Health, will take us through a masterclass on Digital Therapeutics (DTx) reimbursement success in fully-insured health plans vs. self-insured. We have seen a significant number of DTx companies approaching employers to get their products paid for as a covered employee benefit. While some have secured good deals and continue to make good adoption progress, there are many challenges to making it work. We will break down the drivers for employer funding of DTx.

On June 2, we will be joined by Rick Bartles, managing partner of DTxCC, to examine what success looks like for pharma and DTx partnerships. In theory, DTx and pharma are natural bedfellows, with both looking for commercially viable ways to connect with patients and improve outcomes. In practice, we are still in the early days of this marriage and have yet to nail down the best business model for DTx in pharma companies.
