Abridge and Epic collaborate to integrate AI-based clinical documentation

Abridge, a leader in generative AI for clinical documentation, has become the first participant in Epic’s Partners and Pals program. 

This collaboration integrates Abridge's AI-based documentation solution into Epic's clinical workflows, allowing healthcare providers to create structured summaries of patient conversations in real time. 

The aim of this partnership is to enhance patient care by enabling providers to be more attentive and present during interactions whilst improving documentation efficiency. Current Abridge users save an average of two hours per day, and this integration is expected to offer even more time-saving benefits. 

Abridge has also teamed up with Emory Healthcare for a three-year enterprise-wide agreement to integrate its Epic-integrated AI solution for note-taking, further streamlining the patient care experience.
