Amazon Pharmacy is expanding access to Novo Nordisk’s oral Ozempic, offering the newly approved GLP-1 treatment for type 2 diabetes through home delivery and in-office pickup at select One Medical locations. Patients can order prescriptions online, check real-time availability and choose between delivery or rapid pickup via on-site kiosks. The company is rolling out same-day delivery across nearly 3,000 cities and plans to reach about 4,500 by the end of 2026, alongside next-day and two-day options that aim to outperform traditional mail-order pharmacy timelines.
The service is designed to simplify access and improve transparency, with pricing visible upfront and discounts automatically applied at checkout. Insured patients may pay as little as $25 per month, while cash-pay options start around $149 with manufacturer savings included. By combining digital ordering with physical pickup points inside clinics, Amazon is positioning its pharmacy offering as both convenient and flexible, reducing friction between prescription, fulfillment and patient access.
This move builds on Amazon Pharmacy’s broader push into GLP-1 distribution and integrated care services, including prior offerings for Wegovy and the introduction of in-clinic pharmacy kiosks. At the same time, Novo Nordisk continues to expand its distribution strategy through partnerships with digital health and consumer platforms, reflecting growing demand for GLP-1 therapies. Together, these efforts highlight a shift toward faster fulfillment, transparent pricing and more accessible channels for high-demand medications.
