Avaneer Health, a secure digital network for healthcare, has announced the launch of the first of its kind peer-to-peer network created exclusively for healthcare.
The healthcare industry faces several challenges such as fragmented data silos, numerous point-to-point connections, layers of technology debt, incomplete information and manual processes. Aveneer Health aims to use the network to address these challenges through collaboration and sharing of real-time data, streamlining healthcare administration. The Avaneer Health network will also strengthen data security and protection, allow participants to subscribe to and launch innovative solutions in collaboration with payers and providers, and improve patient experience through streamlined processes.
CVS Health, Cleveland Clinic, Elevance Health, & Sentara Healthcare have been the first to connect to the Aveneer’s decentralized network. Rajeev Ronanki, Senior Vice President, Elevance Health and President, Carelon Digital Platforms explains, " With a decentralized design, the network enables Elevance Health to more securely collaborate with providers, payors, and other network participants as we share relevant health information on the customers we have in common."
