Color Health has announced a partnership with SkinIO and Bexa to enhance its Virtual Cancer Clinic by incorporating advanced skin and breast cancer screening technologies. SkinIO's AI-powered app enables users to conduct full-body skin exams via smartphone or iPad, while Bexa offers quick, pain-free breast exams using pressure elastography and ultrasound, providing immediate results onsite at workplaces. These innovative solutions aim to make early cancer diagnosis more accessible to both employers and individuals.
Building on its existing Virtual Cancer Clinic, Color Health provides comprehensive cancer care that extends beyond screening. The platform includes clinical team support for follow-up care and diagnostic testing, care advocate guidance throughout the screening process, and seamless integration with primary care physicians to ensure continuity of care. By addressing common barriers such as cost, inconvenience, and fear of diagnosis, Color Health aims to increase early detection rates, reduce healthcare costs, and empower individuals to prioritize their health.
Starting September 1, 2024, these new screening services will be available to Color Health customers. The collaboration has the potential to significantly improve cancer screening rates and empower individuals to take control of their health. Josh Sturm, Chief Revenue Officer for Color Health, highlighted the company’s commitment to providing robust cancer screening solutions and comprehensive support models, which have nearly doubled cancer screening rates among their customers. The goal is to design customized programs that meet the needs of various populations, ultimately lowering barriers to cancer screening and improving health outcomes.
