Digital healthcare company Tendo acquires MDsave for $150 million

Digital healthcare company Tendo is purchasing MDsave, an online healthcare marketplace, for $150 million. 


Tendo specialises in software for patient check-in and clinical data entry and was last valued at $550 million. MDsave operates as an online platform connecting healthcare providers, employers, and patients with transparent upfront pricing for healthcare services.


The acquisition is set to be finalised in October, as announced in a Tendo news release. Tendo's CEO, Dan Goldsmith, expressed that the merger of MDsave and Tendo aims to provide a comprehensive solution for patients, caregivers, employers, and navigators by simplifying the discovery, scheduling, engagement, payment, and management of cost-effective healthcare services.
