Elyfia Launches Digital Health Coaching Platform for Fibromyalgia Patients

UK-based health tech startup Elyfia has unveiled a new digital health coaching app tailored for individuals living with fibromyalgia. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the platform provides personalized support through a blend of human coaching and digital tools.

Fibromyalgia, a chronic condition marked by widespread pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and mood issues, disproportionately affects women, with 80-90% of cases reported in females. While its exact cause remains unclear, potential triggers include genetics, infections, and physical or emotional trauma.

Dr. Ilan Lieberman, Elyfia’s founder, shared his motivation: “As a healthcare professional, I’ve witnessed how isolating and challenging fibromyalgia can be. I was frustrated by the lack of scalable, affordable support for those in need. Research confirms that health coaching is one of the most effective ways to manage chronic conditions long term, which inspired me to build Elyfia with an exceptional team.”

The app integrates real-time health insights from wearables, interactive educational modules, and AI-driven personalized care. Users also benefit from on-demand, text-based coaching. Elyfia is offering free coaching for a limited period and has opened a waitlist for the new year. The startup recently secured funding from Innovate UK to advance its mission.
