Flo Health Launches ‘Pass It On Project’ in Partnership With FemTech India

Flo Health, a global leader in period and ovulation tracking, recently hit a $1 billion valuation after a successful Series C funding round.

The app has over 80 million monthly active users globally, with 1.5 million in India, where it plans an official Diwali launch. This festive season, Flo Health aims to make its advanced health resources accessible to millions of Indian women, fulfilling its mission to enhance women’s health by providing insights on hormonal patterns, reproductive health conditions, fertility, and more.

In 2022, Flo Health introduced the Pass It On Project, offering free premium subscriptions in 22 countries where reliable health information can be scarce. By 2024, the project had expanded to support 66 countries and 18 million women globally, with a special focus on India. In honor of its launch there, Flo Health is teaming up with FemTech India for a Diwali campaign to further the Pass It On Project’s reach.

In India, where a recent Period Health Study indicated that 70% of women face menstrual health issues and 58% lack adequate menstrual knowledge, the campaign seeks to close this gap by providing vital health information and tools.

Flo Health and FemTech India will work together to engage female Android users nationwide, targeting diverse regions where access to health information is often limited.

Navneet Kaur, founder of FemTech India, shared, “As the first Indian organization in the UNFPA Equity Alliance 2030, we’re proud to collaborate with Flo Health on the ‘Pass It On’ project. This initiative provides millions of women with free access to essential health resources, promoting better women’s health and advancing gender equality. Diwali, a season of renewal and light, is the perfect time to drive positive change forward.”
