Flourish Health Raises $26M Series A to Expand High-Acuity Youth Mental Healthcare

Flourish Health has raised $26 million in new funding to expand its high-acuity mental healthcare services for children, adolescents and young adults, bringing the company's total funding to $46 million. The provider specializes in delivering intensive psychiatric care in patients' homes, supporting individuals between the ages of 8 and 26 who are living with serious mental health conditions. The investment will help the company scale its care model nationally while addressing growing demand for youth behavioral health services.

Flourish Health's care model is built around multidisciplinary teams, known as Care Pods, which include child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, patient guides and family guides. The company treats a range of complex conditions, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders and behavioral disorders, while working to reduce the long wait times that often prevent young people from accessing specialized psychiatric care. Patients are typically referred through health plans, hospitals and case managers who identify the need for more intensive behavioral health support.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand into additional markets, recruit and train more clinicians and strengthen partnerships with health plans. Flourish will also continue investing in its technology platform, including artificial intelligence tools designed to improve patient engagement, streamline clinical workflows, support treatment adherence and enhance care coordination across multidisciplinary teams. The provider currently works with major commercial insurers, Medicaid plans and specialty foster care organizations through both in-network and value-based care arrangements.

The funding reflects continued investor interest in pediatric behavioral health as demand for youth mental health services continues to outpace available resources. Venture capital investment in the sector has accelerated in recent years, with several companies raising significant funding to expand access to specialized mental healthcare for children and adolescents. Flourish aims to use its integrated, home-based care model to improve outcomes while making intensive psychiatric services more accessible to families who often have few alternatives.
