GE HealthCare, DeepHealth Collaborate to Advance AI in Imaging

GE HealthCare and DeepHealth, a RadNet company, have entered a strategic collaboration to drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical imaging. This partnership aims to develop SmartTechnology™ solutions that address challenges throughout the imaging value chain, ultimately enhancing patient care.

By combining GE HealthCare’s expertise in imaging, RadNet’s experience in care delivery, and DeepHealth’s AI-powered informatics, the collaboration will create solutions that increase efficiency by streamlining imaging interpretation and reporting workflows, improve collaboration through enhanced communication and coordination among care teams, and enhance clinical interpretation with greater accuracy and efficiency in image analysis. Additionally, it will boost productivity by optimizing operational efficiency within imaging departments.

The first focus of this collaboration will be integrating DeepHealth’s AI-powered SmartMammo™ workflow and clinical solution with GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina™ mammography system. This integration aims to improve breast cancer screening by providing AI-powered clinical imaging support. Key features include DeepHealth’s SmartMammo™, an AI-powered SaaS solution that seamlessly integrates into existing breast cancer diagnostic workflows to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.

The solution offers a cloud-native image viewer, integration with radiologists’ worklists, and AI detection tools for precise lesion localization. Meanwhile, GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina™ provides a patient-centric mammography experience, designed to reduce discomfort and anxiety. Additionally, DeepHealth’s Smart Alerts, a workflow solution leveraging rapid AI processing, quickly flags potentially suspicious lesions, enabling same-day diagnostic exams and reducing patient anxiety.
