Digital gastrointestinal health company Vivante Health has successfully closed a Series B funding round, securing $31 million in investment. Mercato Partners led this funding round, and several other notable investors, including Health Catalyst, Intermountain Ventures, SemperVirens, 7wireVentures, Human Capital, and Distributed Ventures, also participated. This latest round brings Vivante Health's total funding to $47 million.
Vivante Health offers a platform called GIThrive, which delivers personalised care plans to individuals with digestive health issues. Patients using the platform can monitor their symptoms, access educational content, and utilise self-guided behavioural health modules. Additionally, the platform provides access to a coordinated team of healthcare providers, including dieticians, coaches, and physicians.
The company, headquartered in Illinois, plans to utilise the newly acquired funds to enhance its technology and expand its workforce. Vivante Health aims to address the needs of the one in four Americans suffering from digestive disorders or undiagnosed digestive symptoms, which can impact both their quality of life and healthcare costs. The company believes that its scalable technology platform and comprehensive care team result in improved health outcomes, cost savings, and a better overall experience for its members.
Vivante Health previously secured $16 million in Series A funding last year, $5.8 million in Series A1 investment in 2020, and $6 million in 2018. The company's services were integrated into Solera Health's digital platform in 2022, alongside another digital gastrointestinal health company called Oshi Health.
