Conifer Health Solutions, a revenue cycle services company and subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare, has partnered with Google Cloud to integrate large-scale AI into its revenue cycle management platform. Conifer, which provides revenue cycle and population health management services to hospitals, health systems, physician practices, employers, and unions, is developing a new AI platform built on Google Cloud to enhance every phase of the revenue cycle. The platform will streamline processes across patient access, insurance and eligibility verification, revenue integrity, and accounts receivable management.
According to Conifer’s COO, Deepali Narula, combining the company’s deep expertise in revenue cycle management with Google Cloud’s advanced AI capabilities will not only strengthen financial outcomes for clients but also improve patient experiences by enabling more efficient, accurate, and responsive care.
The partnership builds on Conifer’s continued expansion, including its multi-year agreement with Dartmouth Health, where it serves as the exclusive provider of end-to-end revenue cycle management services. It also reflects the healthcare industry’s growing focus on responsible and results-driven AI deployment. At Google Cloud’s recent healthcare roundtable, executives emphasized that nearly half of healthcare organizations plan to dedicate more than half of their future AI budgets to AI agents, signaling strong investment in automation and intelligence tools. In parallel, educational institutions such as Adtalem Global Education are partnering with Google Cloud to train healthcare professionals in AI applications, further expanding the technology’s impact across clinical and operational domains.
