Health Catalyst Acquires Lumeon to Enhance Care Coordination

Health Catalyst, a leader in healthcare data and analytics technology, has successfully acquired Lumeon Limited, a digital health company specializing in care coordination. Lumeon's Care Orchestration technology is widely used in the U.S. and U.K. to reduce costs, optimize clinician time, and improve patient outcomes. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Health Catalyst’s focus on clinical improvement and ambulatory operations by integrating advanced analytics, AI, and Health Catalyst Ignite™ data processing capabilities into Lumeon’s platform.

The acquisition also positions Health Catalyst to expand its presence in the U.K. and explore new international opportunities. Health Catalyst CEO Dan Burton expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the shared mission of driving data-informed healthcare improvements. Lumeon CEO Robbie Hughes highlighted the potential to enhance healthcare organizations' ability to implement data-driven insights into personalized care through automation, further advancing the impact of both companies' technologies.

The transaction, funded through a mix of stock and cash, reflects Health Catalyst's strategic move to broaden its technology and services offering. The company has provided additional details about the acquisition in its recent quarterly report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
