Bonatra, a healthcare startup focused on treating and managing chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and fatty liver, has acquired women's health and wellness company MyAva for an undisclosed amount. MyAva is a startup aiming to empower women to manage chronic health conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and thyroid disorders, among others.
Through the acquisition, Bonatra aims to expand its holistic healthcare programmes, and establish it as a comprehensive platform for managing chronic health conditions.
Bonatra uses personalised treatment that is determined by analysing multiple data points and health parameters, using various easy to use IoMT devices. The company is planning to launch new devices, such as a smart ring, in the Indian market in the next 6 months to enhance its medical, data, and technology-based solutions.
"Acquiring MyAva enables us to expand our reach and deepen our expertise in women's health," Bonatra CEO and co-founder Rahul Kishore Singh stated.
