Heidi Health Secures $65M to Scale AI Care Partner Platform Globally

Heidi Health, a rapidly growing healthcare AI company based in Melbourne, Australia, has raised $65 million in a Series B funding round led by Point72 Private Investments, valuing the company at $465 million and bringing its total funding to nearly $100 million. The funding will accelerate Heidi’s mission to build an advanced AI Care Partner that enhances clinical capacity by automating time-consuming tasks such as documentation, evidence searches, and follow-up communications.

As healthcare systems worldwide face increasing strain, Heidi’s technology is helping clinicians reclaim time for patient care. In just 18 months, the platform has returned over 18 million hours to frontline clinicians by streamlining administrative work. Tens of thousands of healthcare professionals across more than 200 specialties use Heidi to support over two million consultations each week in 110 languages across 116 countries. Customer satisfaction is exceptionally high—according to a KLAS survey, all respondents said they would repurchase Heidi’s tools. The platform has also delivered substantial returns on investment for users: Indiana Health Group saved 2,000 hours of documentation time, recovering $200,000 in clinical value within five months, while Advanced Urology achieved a 10.3x ROI and recouped $121,000 in productive time in just 16 weeks.

Dr. Thomas Kelly, Heidi’s CEO and co-founder and a former vascular surgical resident, emphasized that expanding clinical capacity without compromising clinician well-being or patient safety is essential to building a sustainable healthcare system. The company is now rapidly expanding its presence in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, following strong clinician-led adoption in Europe and Asia. In the U.K., Heidi was selected by the Modality Partnership for the largest deployment of ambient AI in the region and is running pilots with NHS Trusts serving nearly four million people. In the U.S., it partners with Beth Israel Lahey Health and MaineGeneral, while in Australia and New Zealand, it collaborates with Monash Health and Queensland Health’s Children’s Hospital and has been endorsed by New Zealand’s Health Ministry as one of two AI providers safe for public health trials. In Canada, Heidi is the official AI partner of the Yukon Government.

To support its global expansion, Heidi has appointed Paul Williamson, former Head of Revenue at Plaid, as Chief Revenue Officer, and Dr. Simon Kos, former Chief Medical Officer at Microsoft, as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Kos noted that Heidi’s vision extends beyond ambient voice AI—its goal is to empower every clinician with AI that expands clinical capacity while preserving the essential human connection in healthcare.
