Kahun, an evidence-based clinical reasoning tool for clinicians, has announced the integration of ChatGPT into its platform.
The integration will build on Kahun’s language model’s text fluency, with the aim of improving patient’s pre-visit engagement and cutting times for initial assessment by physicians. This will be achieved by integrating ChatGPT to build on the advanced Large Language Model's (LLM) to engage in human-like conversation with patients, bridging the gap between medical jargon and the everyday language of patients. Kahun will also utilise ChatGPT to generate notes and summary letters for physicians.
"Large Language Models (LLM)-based solutions will transform many industries, and we see ChatGPT as a strong addition to our core offering to both patients and providers," says Eitan Ron, CEO and Co-Founder of Kahun. "In integrating ChatGPT, we're really tapping into the best of both worlds by merging our clinical-reasoning machine with an LLM that can interact with patients and physicians with never-before-seen fluency."
