LG and Aceso partner for customisable content in digital healthcare displays

LG Business Solutions USA has partnered with healthcare technology company Aceso Interactive to provide customisable and personalised content for digital healthcare displays. Aceso's Pane of Glass platform allows hospitals to use digital displays as flexible canvases, enabling the presentation of information as required.

The platform aggregates data from various clinical, AI, and operational systems and seamlessly integrates virtual care and remote monitoring services. This approach enhances patient and clinician experiences by delivering patient-specific clinical or care team information, entertainment and education to the patient's room TV.

As telehealth services expand, there is a growing demand for "always-on" in-room displays that enhance patient experience and support 24/7 care. These displays can notify patients when a staff member is entering the room, complete with a photo and role description. Hospitals can deploy the Pane of Glass platform even on non-smart displays by adding an LG set-top box.

Importantly, this solution can offer significant cost savings by outfitting patient rooms with Pane of Glass-powered displays for less than $2,000, reducing the cost per room while eliminating the need for expensive portable devices and their maintenance.
