MD Integrations (“MDI”), the only unified telehealth platform built on a nationwide doctor-only network, has secured a $77 million investment from Updata Partners and Denali Growth Partners to accelerate growth and expansion, alongside appointing Ramin Zacharia as President and COO.
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Marc Serota, a quadruple board-certified physician, MDI has powered millions of patient consultations across all 50 states for hundreds of digital health brands in specialties such as weight management, longevity, dermatology, women’s and men’s health, allergy/immunology, urgent care, and diagnostics.
After helping build networks at eight telehealth companies, Dr. Serota saw the need for a single, doctor-led solution integrating physicians, pharmacies, and diagnostics. “With MDI, we’ve built a scalable platform that unites all aspects of virtual care,” he said. “This investment allows us to accelerate innovation and set the standard for physician-led healthcare.”
MDI’s doctor-only network ensures every consultation is led by board-certified physicians, while its built-in compliance and API-first platform seamlessly integrate pharmacy, fulfillment, EHR, payments, and e-commerce systems like Shopify and WooCommerce. Designed for flexibility, MDI can serve as a turnkey, no-code platform or a fully customizable API integration, giving partners control without sacrificing compliance or scalability.
“MDI is becoming the infrastructure behind healthcare’s fastest-growing brands,” said Zacharia. “Our focus is on scaling with a partner-first approach, high-quality care, and deeper integrations across the ecosystem.”
As telehealth evolves under greater regulatory pressure and patient expectations, MDI’s end-to-end infrastructure delivers speed, quality, and compliance without the limitations of legacy systems. With new funding, MDI plans to deepen its physician network, expand pharmacy and diagnostics integrations, and enhance its configurable API platform.
“MDI’s physician-first model positions it to define the future of digital healthcare,” said Braden Snyder of Updata Partners. Jesse Lane of Denali Growth Partners added, “We’re excited to support MDI’s mission-driven innovation and continued leadership in telemedicine.”
