Mount Sinai Health System has recently introduced digital experience tools aimed at enhancing patient care.
These tools provide patients access to virtual care, an AI-powered symptom checker, and a virtual assistant. Accessible through smartphones and computers, patients can conveniently schedule virtual urgent care and primary care appointments.
The Check Symptoms & Get Care platform employs natural language processing to identify and match patients to 300 primary symptoms. Additionally, the Mount Sinai Virtual Assistant is available to assist patients with inquiries and appointment management.
This digital tool rollout expands upon the existing MyMountSinai mobile app developed by the health system in 2021.
