Notable has launched Flow Compass, a new intelligence layer within its healthcare AI platform designed to help health systems build, deploy, monitor and manage AI-powered workflows at scale. The solution gives healthcare operators greater visibility and control over their growing AI workforce, allowing them to evaluate performance, identify operational bottlenecks and measure the financial impact of automation.
Flow Compass is part of Notable's broader System of Work, which coordinates human teams and AI agents across existing healthcare applications to complete administrative and operational tasks. Rather than simply deploying individual AI agents, the platform enables organizations to manage multiple automated workflows through a centralized environment. Operators can use natural language to investigate issues, identify opportunities for automation and receive recommendations based on their organization's existing workflows and data.
The platform includes tools for designing and testing AI workflows before deployment, using reusable templates, connectors and automated readiness assessments. Once operational, health systems can monitor workflow performance, investigate failed processes and measure outcomes through dashboards tracking utilization, revenue generation and cost savings. Flow Compass can also identify how changes to one workflow may affect other connected processes, helping organizations maintain reliability as automation expands.
Governance and security are central to the platform. Flow Compass operates within existing role-based access controls, maintains audit trails and incorporates testing tools and safeguards. Healthcare teams retain authority over publishing new workflows or approving changes, while Notable provides technical expertise and prebuilt capabilities informed by its experience in healthcare automation.
Early adopters include NKC Health and Beacon Health System. At NKC Health, Flow Compass identified a configuration issue before the launch of an automated patient questionnaire workflow, preventing additional manual documentation work. Notable says its broader automation platform currently returns more than 3.2 million hours annually to healthcare teams and generates over $130 million in combined annual revenue and cost savings for its customers.
Flow Compass is available through Notable's Flow Studio, with future capabilities expected to include proactive monitoring of AI workflows and automated recommendations for performance improvements.
