Oura and LillyDirect Partner to Support GLP-1 Users with Wearable Insights and Care Tools

Oura and LillyDirect, Eli Lilly and Company’s digital health platform, have announced a collaboration focused on supporting individuals using prescribed GLP-1 therapies for obesity or diabetes. The initiative combines access to treatment resources through LillyDirect with Oura’s wearable technology and health-tracking capabilities.

Under the collaboration, eligible LillyDirect customers can receive a free Oura Ring sizing kit. The Oura Ring tracks a range of health metrics, including sleep duration and quality, heart rate, heart rate variability, body temperature trends, activity and movement. The companies said the effort is intended to help users monitor factors such as sleep, activity, readiness and stress while undergoing GLP-1 treatment.

LillyDirect connects people with chronic conditions to disease-specific resources, independent healthcare providers and pharmacy services. According to the companies, the platform is also listed as a pharmacy option within major electronic health record systems.

Jennifer Mazur, senior vice president of U.S. LillyDirect and Consumer Services at Eli Lilly, said, “At Lilly, we're thinking about what patients need throughout their entire care journey, not just at the point of prescription but in the daily moments that shape long-term success. This is about building a more complete ecosystem around the patient.”

The announcement follows Oura’s launch of GLP-1 Insights, an app-based experience for members using GLP-1 medications. The tool combines manually logged information, including medication dosing, side effects and weight, with Oura-generated data related to sleep, activity, readiness and stress.

Oura reported that more than half of its members identify as having obesity or being overweight, and that tens of thousands already log GLP-1 therapy use within the app. The company expects adoption to increase as use of GLP-1 therapies expands.

Dr. Ricky Bloomfield, chief medical officer at Oura, said, “GLP-1 therapies are increasingly being recognized not just for their clinical impact, but for the critical window they can create for meaningful behavior change.” He added, “This collaboration is an early step toward that kind of connected care experience, helping people feel more informed, more supported and better equipped to translate treatment into sustainable daily habits that support long-term metabolic health beyond the prescription.”

The partnership reflects a broader industry trend as healthcare, retail and digital health organizations continue developing services focused on GLP-1 access, adherence and lifestyle support.
