Perplexity and b.well Connected Health have announced a partnership to integrate consumer health data into AI-powered search, enabling more personalized and context-aware health insights. The collaboration allows users to securely connect their medical records through b.well’s national health data network, giving Perplexity’s answer engine access to longitudinal health information.
The integration is designed to shift AI-generated health responses from generalized guidance to outputs informed by a user’s actual clinical history. By combining Perplexity’s citation-backed AI search capabilities with b.well’s aggregated healthcare data infrastructure, the companies aim to improve relevance and decision support for consumers managing their health.
