Health technology leader Philips has unveiled the Philips CT 3500, an advanced CT system designed for routine radiology and high-volume screening programs.
Equipped with AI technology, the Philips CT 3500 offers a range of features that enhance image reconstruction and streamline workflows, ensuring consistent, speedy, and accurate diagnoses for clinicians. It caters to the demanding needs of high-volume care settings, addressing challenges such as financial constraints and staff shortages.
By automating time-consuming tasks, the CT 3500 allows radiographers to dedicate more time to patient care. The system includes innovative capabilities like Precise Position, which leverages a camera to determine patient orientation accurately and reduce positioning time.
Precise Planning and Precise Intervention offer automated scan area determination and treatment guidance, respectively, further optimising workflows. The CT 3500 also delivers high-quality images with reduced radiation doses, enhancing patient safety.
It achieves this through Precise Image, an AI-based reconstruction feature that improves low-contrast detectability, reduces noise, and minimises radiation exposure. To ensure uninterrupted imaging, the CT 3500 incorporates proactive monitoring sensors and Philips' reliable vMRC tube, enabling timely interventions and maximising uptime.
The Philips CT 3500 joins the company's existing portfolio of high-performance CT solutions and will be showcased at prominent medical equipment fairs in China and Germany.
