Prisma Health is advancing its patient engagement strategy by integrating state-of-the-art digital technologies.
Traditionally, navigating the healthcare system involved juggling various platforms and phone calls. In response to consumer-centric healthcare trends, Prisma Health, an 18-hospital system in South Carolina, partnered with Artera and Gozio Health to consolidate patient-facing technologies into one app.
This collaboration seamlessly combines Gozio Health's wayfinding and location-aware mobile platform with Artera's patient communications solution. Patients can now schedule appointments and receive directions through a unified channel.
Rich Rogers, Prisma Health's Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, highlighted the integration's alignment with their commitment to simplifying the patient experience using smartphones for routine tasks.
Prisma Health's integration has proven successful, with a tenfold increase in daily downloads of the Prisma Health Go app, from 40 to 400. As the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in South Carolina, serving 1.5 million patients annually, this marks a significant stride in enhancing accessibility and user-friendliness for a broader patient demographic.
