RESET and RESET-O: New Era for Digital Addiction Treatments at PursueCare

PursueCare has announced the re-release of RESET and RESET-O, FDA-cleared digital therapeutics for substance use and opioid use disorders. These digital therapeutics were originally developed by Pear Therapeutics, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last year. PursueCare acquired the assets in December, expanding its portfolio of addiction treatment tools.

RESET and RESET-O offer a 12-week course of cognitive behavioral therapy that motivates patients to complete lessons and adhere to treatment, aiming to reduce drug use. PursueCare plans to integrate these therapies with its existing virtual care platform, emphasizing value-based care arrangements with health plans and partnerships with outpatient clinics to deliver seamless, personalized treatment.

PursueCare CEO Nick Mercadante highlighted the company's commitment to accessible care and innovation in digital therapeutics. By relaunching RESET and RESET-O, PursueCare aims to improve patient outcomes and align with health plans prioritizing value-based care.
