RevSpring Acquires TrustCommerce to Expand Integrated Healthcare Payment Gateway

RevSpring, backed by Frazier Healthcare Partners, has acquired TrustCommerce, a Waud Capital Partners portfolio company, in a move to strengthen its position as a comprehensive healthcare payments platform. The deal enhances RevSpring’s ability to deliver an end-to-end payment solution that spans patient engagement, transaction processing, and back-office reconciliation.

TrustCommerce adds enterprise-grade payment gateway connectivity and deep integrations with major Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. By incorporating these capabilities, RevSpring can offer providers a more seamless and unified payment infrastructure—from front-desk collections to backend financial reporting. The combined platform is designed to reduce fragmentation by consolidating transactions into a single, integrated workflow.

A key strategic element of the acquisition is the “Bring-Your-Own-Merchant (BYOM)” flexibility. Healthcare organizations can adopt RevSpring’s patient engagement and billing tools while maintaining their existing banking and merchant relationships. This allows hospitals and health systems to modernize their payments experience without overhauling core financial partnerships.

The acquisition follows RevSpring’s recent purchase of Kyruus Health, reflecting a broader strategy to integrate more elements of the patient journey—from provider search and scheduling to billing and payment—into a unified digital ecosystem. With the addition of TrustCommerce, RevSpring expands its scale, processing more than 60 million transactions annually and collecting over $14 billion in payments. Company leadership says the goal is to simplify vendor relationships, streamline reconciliation, and provide greater financial transparency for healthcare providers.
