Roche Expands Digital Pathology Open Environment with AI Collaborations

Roche has expanded its Digital Pathology Open Environment by integrating more than 20 advanced AI algorithms from eight new partners. These collaborations, facilitated through Roche's navify® Digital Pathology enterprise software, aim to bolster cancer research, diagnostics, and treatment by offering pathologists high-value AI-based insights. The AI algorithms focus on enhancing precision medicine, benefiting cancer patients by providing more targeted and personalized treatment options.


The collaborators include Deep Bio for prostate cancer detection, Mindpeak for breast and lung cancer biomarkers, and Qritive for prostate and colon cancer screening. Other partners, like Owkin and Sonrai Analytics, contribute AI tools for colorectal cancer and microsatellite instability screening. These innovations further Roche’s commitment to revolutionizing cancer diagnostics and improving patient outcomes through precision medicine.


By integrating these AI tools, Roche strengthens its role in supporting pathologists and clinicians in their quest to deliver precise cancer diagnoses, ensuring that personalized healthcare continues to advance.
